An AI writing assistant inside every text field you already use

Free to try. No card, no sign-up wall
- Chrome
- Edge
- Brave
- Opera
- Vivaldi
One Chrome Web Store listing installs in all five. Edge asks once to allow extensions from other stores.
It opens where you are typing
No app to open and no draft to paste anywhere.
How it works
Three moves, and none is a copy-paste
-
Select the text you already typed
Highlight a sentence in the field you are working in: a Gmail reply, the LinkedIn composer, a note in your CRM. Nothing is copied anywhere.
-
Pick a tool from the floating toolbar
A toolbar opens beside the selection with the 9 tools: correct, paraphrase, translate, resize, reply, explain, emoji, hashtags and Magic Mode.
-
The result replaces your selection
FixMeBot writes the new text back into the same field and leaves your cursor where it was. No second window, no tab to switch back from.
Where it works
Any editable field, on any site
The extension attaches to the text field, not to the website.

If you can type into it, the toolbar works there. No per-site integration and no allowlist.
The tools
9 tools, one selection away
Every one reads the whole selection, not the word under the cursor.
Magic Mode
“Turn into 3 bullets”The sprint slipped because QA found a race condition in the payment retry logic, which took two days to reproduce, and the fix needed a schema change we had to coordinate with the data team.

What Magic Mode doesVoice to Text is not here
A browser has no voice messages to read, so it lives in the chatbot instead.

Which browsers does the FixMeBot extension work in?
Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera and Vivaldi, all from the same Chrome Web Store listing. There is no separate Edge or Opera build to hunt for. They are all Chromium browsers, so the extension you install is byte-for-byte the same one. Edge shows a one-click banner asking you to allow extensions from other stores the first time you install from the Chrome Web Store.
Does it work inside Gmail, Google Docs and LinkedIn?
Yes, and inside any other editable field, because the extension attaches to the field rather than to the site. Select your text in a Gmail reply, a Google Docs paragraph, a LinkedIn message or a comment box, pick a tool from the floating toolbar, and the result is written back into that same field.
How much text can I send in one request?
15,000 characters per request in the browser extension, which is roughly a long email or two pages of a report. For anything longer, select and send it a section at a time; only the text you send counts against your allowance, never the reply.
Do I have to copy my text into a separate window?
No. That is the whole reason the extension exists: the text stays in the field you were typing in, and the corrected version replaces your selection in place. Copying a draft into a web app, fixing it there and pasting it back is the step FixMeBot removes.
Is the extension free?
There is a free trial of 10,000 characters split across the two platforms (5,000 in the extension and 5,000 in Telegram), with no card required, and every tool except Voice to Text unlocked. After that, plans start at €4.99 per month.
